Fun in Paris

Through the years, we have felt incredibly lucky to enjoy countless beautiful evenings in Paris with our loved ones. The city is a treasure trove of world-class museums, superb dining, and stylish boulevards that invite exploration.

Restaurants

  • La Jacoubine (fantastic onion soup and escargot!)

  • ​Sir Winston (cool speakeasy downstairs)

  • Lulu's (insane hot chocolate + great breakfast)

  • Bistro des Augustins (famous for potato gratin, will burn your mouth)

  • Maison Bergeron (cookie croissants)

  • Perlamatta 

  • La Véraison

  • Partage Café (cute breakfast spot, great coffee)
     

Famous Sites

  • Eiffel Tower (Becky's favorite, lights up at the start of the hour every day after sunset)

  • The Louvre (book tickets in advance and enjoy the outdoor gardens)

  • Visit the Arc de Triomphe (no tickets needed)

  • Notre Dame (free to go inside)

  • Sacre-Coeur Basilica in Montmartre (lots of steps but its worth it, also Moulin rouge!)

  • Musee d' Orsay (Walid's favorite, huge window of an old train station)

  • Luxembourg Gardens (people watching is great)

  • Palace of Versailles (a train ride away but a nice day trip)

Things to Do

 

  • Walk the Seine (see the French Statue of Liberty)

  • Have a picnic on the lawn of Eiffel Tower

  • Grab a seat in the green chairs around the fountains near the Louvre 

  • Shopping for souvenirs at the green outdoor stands near Notre Dame

  • La Trocadero to get a great view of the Eiffel Tower

  • Galaries Lafayette is a wonder to see and fun to shop
